Slate Summary

  • The Vancouver Canucks have been on a roll winning 6 in a row while putting up 32 goals. It might be a little too late for their playoff push but they certainly have a shot. They just need to keep this pace up and hopefully squeeze in as a wild card team. Bo Horvat is out for the rest of the regular season which will give others opportunities to produce. Since they desperately need to win these games, I expect more minutes to their stars like Pettersson, Garland and Hughes. They are all way too cheap in a prime spot against the Senators. Vasily Podkolzin has been spectacular when given minutes and it seems like the HC trusts him more as his ice time is slowly increasing. He is projected to play on the top line again for only 3.7k, he provides great value and salary relief. My last core play is captain JT from the Toronto Maple Leafs. With Matthews sidelined, Tavares will slot into the top center role. The Leafs are the only team to project over 5 goals at 5.48. I’m focusing heavily on VAN, TOR and TB in GPPs and even for my goalie in cash games.
