NHL DFS FanDuel & DraftKings Core Plays (February 11/22)

Published by Rajonrondough

Tyson Barrie (EDM) (D) – $4,500

  • We have an unusual late slate but what’s important is that we have a good slate today. I’m starting off my builds for cash games with Tyson Barrie. He is 4.5k on FD which is cheap. I’m really surprised he plays on L3/PP2 but if you are a game log chaser, he hasn’t recorded a point in his last 10 games. I am not worried as he keeps getting ice time.

Blake Wheeler (WPG) (W) – $5,500

  • After Barrie, Wheeler is my next favorite value play. He is projected to play on the top line as well as the top power play unit. Wheeler has been on fire lately so I will ride the hot hand for only 5.5k. Another strong consideration for cash play is Mark Scheifele, line mate of Wheeler. This is a good way to get positive correlation.

Tyson Barrie (EDM) (D) – $3,400

  • Way too cheap here. Lock in Barrie as your number 1 pick on DK.

Nikita Kucherov (TB) (RW) – $8,300

  • It was really nice rostering Kuch under 8k as he smashed with his cheap price tags but now he is over the 8k mark at 8.3k. I don’t mind it at all as he should be priced this much. The Tampa Bay Lightning are the only team to project over 4+ goals which makes Kuch my favorite spend up to target on this slate

Cash Play Consideration

  • Jakob Chychrun (ARI) (D) – $5,200
  • Connor McDavid (EDM) (C) – $10,000
  • Mark Scheifele (WPG) (C) – $6,500

  • Connor McDavid (EDM) (C) – $9,200
  • Jakob Chychrun (ARI) (D) – $5,200
  • Alexander Radulov (DAL) (RW) – $2,500
