Nikola Jokic – $17,500 – MVP

It was clear going into the series that the Miami Heat were undersized and Jokic took advantage of it right away putting up yet another triple double. With the weak interior defense, look for Jokic to continue putting up monster numbers.

Jimmy Butler – $15,500 – STAR

Butler struggled in game 1 ending with just 36.9 FPTS. He is $500 cheaper than before and if the Heat want a chance to win, Butler will need to take charge. Being projected the 2nd highest player with a 9 projection difference, lock in Butler (STAR) and go from there when building an optimal cash game lineup.

Aaron Gordon – $6,400 – UTIL

Aaron Gordon absolutely destroyed the Heat in game 1 with his size and strength. Although he only ended up with 27 FPTS, most of the damage came in the first half and in the post. For only $6,400, he becomes a must play at the UTIL spot. For an optimal build, it’s best to stay away from the CPT spot unless you are trying to be different for GPP contests.

Jimmy Butler – $7,500 – SF

Butler for $7,500 on OwnersBox is a really fair price tag, especially being the second highest points per $ right behind Jokic who is priced up there. A potential Jokic fade is something you should look at. In regards to Butler, we should see a bounce back game and is a solid foundation for an optimal cash game lineup.

Cash Game Considerations

  • Nikola Jokic – $14,800 – UTIL
  • Bam Adebayo – $13,200 – CPT
  • Gabe Vincent – $5,400 – UTIL
  • Michael Porter Jr. – $7,800 – UTIL

  • Bam Adebayo – $6,500 – SF
  • Bruce Brown – $4,700 – SF
  • Gabe Vincent – $4,500 – SF
  • Kyle Lowry – $4,300 – SF

*We do have a few injury news to monitor but the important news here is Caleb Martin. He has been a crucial part of the Heat rotation and playoff run. If ruled out, look for Highsmith to get the biggest minutes bump.

These are the top NBA DFS picks for your FanDuel, DraftKings, and OwnersBox lineups for June 4, 2023.
