NBA DFS FanDuel & DraftKings Core Plays (October 30)

Jonas Valanciunas (NO) (C) – $8,300

  • Joval has been cooking this year for his new team. A big part has to do with Zion being out which bumps up the usage for the big man. Brandon Ingram is ruled out as well which hurts the team a lot but means everything will go through Joval. If the game can stay close, this is a steal at $8,300.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) (PF/C) – $11,300

  • My favorite spend up today is Giannis. We all know Jrue Holiday is out with an ankle injury. Giannis has put up monster stats the last couple of games and he can definitely do the same against the Spurs. He will be chalky and I don’t recommend fading chalk in cash games.

Mo Bamba (ORL) (PF/C) – $6,400

  • I really like Bamba on FD today. Chuma Okeke is expected to make his season debut which can cut into his upside but Bamba has had an incredible leap this year. Price is great and I don’t mind it at all in cash games.

Jonas Valanciunas (NOP) (C) – $8,100

  • If the Pelicans can keep it close, Joval will smash and he will be the main reason why the game is competitive. Mitchell Robinson is a great defender and the matchup could be a lot better but that won’t make me fade the Lithuanian. He is too good and as I mentioned, Ingram is out so it’s all Joval tonight. My favorite play on both sites.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) (PF/SF) – $11,400

  • Everyone will spend up on Giannis which seems to be the case for most slates. My next core play is a salary relief play which I love but will be chalky. That will allow us to play Giannis in cash games over on DK.

Cade Cunningham (DET) (PG) – $3,600

  • The first overall pick is expected to make his NBA debut and I’m sure everyone is excited to see him play. He is only $3,600 on DK which is too cheap even for a player expected to play 20-25 minutes tonight.
