NBA DFS FanDuel & DraftKings Core Plays (November 2)

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) (PF/SF) – $11,300

  • If you have read my NHL cores plays, McDavid is pretty much a lock every slate he plays and same goes for Giannis. He simply does it all and has a safe floor but provides a high ceiling as well. Jrue is still lingering with his ankle injury and Khris Middleton is on Covid protocols which means everything will go through Giannis tonight against the Detroit Pistons. My favorite spend up today is Giannis on both sites so lock him in and build around the Greek Freak.

Rudy Gobert (UTA) (C) – $8,200

  • I can’t remember the last time I rostered a center that wasn’t Joval. Today, I will be locking Rudy because Jonas Valanciunas is priced up now at $8,600 and although I love him against the Suns who could be without Ayton, Rudy is just as good of a play today for $400 less. I wouldn’t mind if you play Joval today but every little bit of saving counts and currently, Gobert is slightly projected higher today.

Jae Crowder (PHO) (PF) – $4,200

  • Crowder has played really well the last couple of games putting up above average numbers and surpassing his price tag. Ayton is questionable today but trending to not playing so the other 4 starters will have to step up. At $4,200, he is the best salary relief play in my opinion today on FD and you will need the saving if you plan to roster Giannis.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) (PF/C) – $11,600

  • Once again the best spend up on the slate with injuries to their key players. Price tag is better on FD but there’s no way I fade Giannis today in cash games. He is probable and not questionable so hit that lock button on number 34.

Bam Adebayo (MIA) (C) – $7,500

  • Bam did miss last game due to the same injury but he is trending in the right direction to suit up for todays game against the Mavs. His price tag is cheap on DK which is the lowest it has ever been this season. Hopefully he plays as he and Giannis are my favorite plays on the slate.
