NBA DFS FanDuel & DraftKings Core Plays (Mar 10/22)

James Harden (PHI) (SG/SF) – $10,200

  • I always prefer bigger slates but James Harden playing his former team for the first time makes up for it. His usage rate is slightly lower with Maxey having a breakout season but I have a feeling Harden will take control today and do whatever it takes to get the win. This will probably be the best revenge narrative this season so I’m all in on the beard.

Klay Thompson (GS) (SG) – $5,700

  • Thompson hasn’t shot the ball well this season, possibly due to the rust of not playing for 2 years but he still averages over a point per minute. Now that he gets closer to 30 minutes every game and being priced at 5.7k, he is a solid mid-tier option. As of now, the marksman is a lock for me on FD.

Stephen Curry (GS) (PG) – $9,100

  • Curry has been disappointing this year but his price tag is really stands out as it’s the cheapest it has been for a long time now. It hasn’t been pretty for Curry in the last couple of weeks but if his shots start to fall, he can have a slate breaking game.

James Harden (PHI) (PG/SG) – $10,400

  • I will be playing Harden on both sites.

Nikola Jokic (DEN) (C) – $11,200

  • Nikola Jokic is having yet another ridiculous year while only being 27 years of age. His last 3 games have been unheard of as he dropped 95, 75.25 and 77 fps. I have him as my core play on DK and I’m trying to find a build I like that has him on both sites. If he continues his hot streak, fading him on both sites might cost you.

cash play considerations

  • Kevon Looney (GS) (C/PF) – $4,700

  • Nemanja Bjelica (GSW) (PF/C) – $3,100

key injury news

  • Will Barton – questionable
