NBA DFS FanDuel & DraftKings Core Play (January 6/22)

Jordan Poole (GSW) (PG/SG) – $5,700

  • Steph Curry is out making Jordan Poole my favorite play on both sites. He will be very chalky and I wouldn’t fade him in cash games because of his price which is too cheap. He averages 1 FD point per minute and has a big usage bump with Curry off the court.

Jaren Jackson (MEM) (PF/C) – $6,600

  • I always hold my breath when I watch triple J as he is undisciplined which causes him to be in foul trouble often. If he manages to stay on the court, he is a great play for 6.6k. The matchup can’t get any better for Jaren and I’ll take my shot at him in cash games today.

Cade Cunningham (DET) (PG/SG) – $6,800

  • This game might turn into a blowout but if the game stays competitive, Cade will be the main reason. The price is good here on FD and although his game log isn’t as impressive as I’d like, I like him tonight in this spot.

Jordan Poole (GSW) (SG) – $5,800

  • Poole will be the dominate ball handler with Curry out and he is priced as if Curry is in. He is a lock for me on both sites.

Marcus Morris Sr. (LAC) (SF/PF) – $5,600

  • It’s crazy to think that Marcus Morris Sr. is the best player for the Clippers. What is more crazy is that he has been very solid, mainly due to the fact that PG13 has been out. That’s what we want in DFS and we get value by playing him at 5.6k. There is a blowout risk but he should get there before the game turns ugly.

Chris Paul (PHX) (PG) – $7,300

  • If anyone knows me, they would tell you that I am the biggest Rajon Rondo fan. It’s never fun when I have to put CP3 as my core play but he is underpriced on DK. He also plays the Clippers which is always a treat for NBA fans.

  • Chris Paul (PHO) (PG) – $7,800
  • Jonas Valanciunas (NO) (C) – $7,900

  • Ja Morant (MEM) (PG) – $9,200
